Pre-School Piano : ‘Encore on Keys’

Northwood Music is the premier music solutions provider in the ‘Encore’ pre-school piano/keyboard music programmes in Singapore. Apart from offering this exciting programme to pre-schools, we also offer this at our studios for private students.

The Encore programme uses the SMART System to ensure the child develops music skills holistically. Aural awareness, bodily response, music theory, repertoire-building and Northwood’s very own ‘Dalcroze Eurhythmics’ method is infused into the learning.

Unlike traditional methods, we teach the child to see the keyboard as both a melodic and harmonic instrument. This enables the child to see music as more than just ‘playing notes printed on the score’. The ‘Encore’ learning kit comes with full-colour, illustrated score book, theory flash-cards and backing-track CD filled with exciting contemporary songs that will capture the imagination of every child!
Once the child completes all four levels, he/she will graduate to our Northwood Dual-Track Programme.
